Winter Fruits: Their Benefits & Recipes Ideas

With the temperature going up, the apparition of the first bourgeons and flowers we might believe that spring is here, but nah we’re still in winter. So I have enough time to introduce you the 3 fruits I chose for this article, and for you cook the recipes I found.

In winter the fruits you can find are :

  • Lemon
  • Kiwi
  • Orange
  • Apple
  • Pineapple
  • Avocado
  • Banana
  • Mango
  • Pear
  • Passion fruit.

My choice went on lemon, banana and pear which are 3 of winter fruits the most loved and consommed.

1-Banana

If like my 5 year old you have a (justified) obsession with bananas, you’ll be happy to read about all the benefits it has, on top of its delicious taste.

Some of its benefits :

Full of proteins, fibers, vitamins and minerals banana is very good for our health. Banana is well known for being energizing and also a good ally against depression, rich in potassium it may favorised concentration and also be helpful against stress. With its great amount of iron, it helps to fight against anemia.

What to do with it?

2-Pear

From the seeds family like our friend the apple, pear is as delicious and full of good things.

Some of its benefits :

Refreshing it hydrates the organism with its high water content. Source of vitamin C she may be useful for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Pear facilitates digestion thanks to fibers.

3-Lemons

When I think about acid, excellent and infinitely declinable, I think lemon. Native from China, lemon can be find in our warm water, our decoction to fight a cold or in our dishes savory and sweet. Its an incontournable in the kitchen. I can’t get enough, and when I see the good it brings to our mouth and our body, it only nourishes my love for it.

Some of its benefits :

Like all the citrus lemon is full of vitamin C. It also has a lot of antioxydantes which permit to neutralize free radicals and so prevent cardiovascular diseases. As a powerful antiseptic, lemon helps the body get rid of its toxines.
