I don’t know about you, but for me winter isn’t the best season to find the most delicious fruits or vegetables. But since everything had been created to perfection, the fruits and vegetables that we can found are nonetheless, delicious and full of good things. In this article we are going to focalize on the winter vegetables.

In winter, what can you find on the byre of your favorite shop or to the market?

I selected in this list the winter vegerables I love and cook the most, I named : carott, leek and potato.

Let’s see together the benefits of each one, and three recipes of what you can do with them.


I call it the star of the winter vegetables. We can find it everywhere, and for good reason leek tastes so good plus it’s amazing for our health.

Native from South America (Perou to be precise), this food became essential in our kitchen. Its uses are endless making potato one of the greatest thing ever. What if I told you that potato is not just a vegetable? That’s true, ma’am is sometimes considered as a starchy, sometimes as a tubercule.

But that doesn’t matter, right? As long as you continue to delight us, and do good to our health, we accept you as you are potato.
